Hi, I’m Mel. 

I’m a writer and I write under the pen names April Browne and Mel Woodburn. I like puns, superheroes, and the paranormal.  

I’m a homeschool mom with a six year old and a one year old. I feel pretty unschool-y and serious about learning by doing and learning by play.

I’m also a total nerd, a triathlete, a wannabe artist, and a clutterbug. Seriously, how do people keep up with their houses?

So, this might be a writer blog. Or maybe, it’s a homeschool mom blog. Or maybe it’s a decluttering/organizing blog.  Or an art journal. 

I’m not so sure yet, but I think I’ll mostly write about homeschooling while being a writer mom.
